Firearms safety is of tantamount importance.  Guns are not toys and children need to be taught about their dangers. They need to know that they should never pick up a gun that they see or find, whether that is indoors or outdoors. When playing with toy guns after watching countless cartoons and violence on television, it becomes almost instinctive for a child to pull the trigger of any gun. It is imperative that children know to never point or aim a gun at anyone. Teach your children and grandchildren basic firearm safety so they can prevent harm to themselves and others.
